DURATEX
Cement-bound hard aggregate screeds
DURATEX hard aggregate screeds, applied in one or two layers, possess an extremely hard, dense and hard-wearing surface. The material is dust-free and easy to keep clean. DURATEX is resistant to caustic substances, petrol and non-acidic oils.  Thanks to its compressive strength and great abrasion resistance it is very durable.

Properties
The epoxy coating improves resistance to frost and de-icing salt, oil and petrol as well as bending tensile strength.

Materials/processing
A mortar improver is added to the basic formulation for hard aggregate screeds. The installation process is the same as for single-layer hard aggregate screeds.


Application
Epoxy-coated hard aggregate screeds are particularly suitable for jobs requiring improved mortar quality.

Cement-epoxy screeds
Properties
Single-layer DURATEX cement-epoxy screeds are designed for the toughest applications. They provide an extremely hard, dense and hard-wearing surface.

Materials/processing
In addition to crack-free minerals and cement, the appropriate resins are admixed for the wearing courses of DURATEX cement-epoxy screeds. The combination of compulsory mixing, compaction of the screed and treatment of the surface with grinding and polishing machines creates a very high-quality industrial flooring.


Application
The cement-epoxy screed is particularly suitable for jobs which require high stress resistance as well as a certain degree of chemical resistance.
