Properties
Magnesite screeds are extremely hard-wearing and have great compressive strength. They are thermally insulating, non-skid, flame-retardant and sparkproof, dust-free and easy to clean. FAMA is resistant to oil, grease, petrol, benzol and solubilized cutting oil. It is not resistant to acids and alkaline solutions.
Materials/processing
The single-layer, seamless FAMA floor is usually 15-20 mm thick and finished by a double polishing process. This special flooring material is mass-produced, in constant collaboration with the works laboratory, in modern mixing plants using high-quality raw materials and fillers. It is prepared in a compulsory mixer and applied by hand. |

Application
FAMA magnesite screeds are particularly suitable for engineering factories and workshops for equipment construction and the electronics industry, textile and shoe factories, joinery workshops, work-rooms in schools and homes, food production and mill facilities, and warehouses.
FAMA is not suitable for particularly wet working areas. |
