Properties
HALTOPEX exterior floors are seamless, noise-absorbing and extremely hard-wearing. The water-permeable flooring has a high degree of inherent elasticity; it is resistant to ultraviolet light as well as to snow, ice, heat and de-icing salts. The rough surface insulates against impact noise and has excellent anti-skid properties.

Materials/processing
The UV-resistant special granulate is bound, with a lightfast binder, compacted and sanded. The HALTOPEX exterior floor is laid to a thickness of 8-10 mm.


Application
The HALTOPEX exterior floor is suitable for schoolyards and playgrounds, restaurants, shopping centres, pergolas, staircases, terraces, balconies etc.

Granilastic floor system - exterior
Properties
The solvent-free HALTOPEX Granilastic floor system is urine-resistant, thermally-insulating, odour-free and kind to joints. The surface texture can be adapted to the specific usage: brush finish, steel-float finish or sanded.

Materials/processing
This granulate/latex flooring is laid to a thickness of 8-20 mm.


Application
The HALTOPEX Granilastic flooring system is particularly suitable for stables of all kind as well as animal transporters.

Ice-rink flooring system - exterior
Properties
The HALTOPEX ice-rink flooring system is proof against skate blades. The surface can be finished with a sander or left unsanded.

Materials/processing
This floor is a special edition made from extra-hard granulate and special binders. It is laid to a thickness of 10 mm.


Application
The HALTOPEX ice-rink flooring system can be used in all areas of a skating rink: in unsanded form it is suitable for corridors and outside areas, and when sanded and filled, for restaurants, cloakrooms etc. The floor can be cleaned using pressure hoses or cleaning machines.

Interior application
Properties
HALTOPEX is a seamless, noise-absorbing and extremely hard-wearing flooring system. The elastic surface combines the toughness and easy-care characteristics of paving with the comfort and impact-noise absorption of a carpet. Thanks to its anti-skid surface HALTOPEX is one of the few heat-insulating floors that is also suitable for use in wet zones. The HALTOPEX floor does not require a substrate of barrier layers and is permeable to vapour. HALTOPEX is a good choice if you want to install underfloor heating.

Materials/processing
HALTOPEX can be produced as an elastic or rigid floor. The rubber granulate is bound with a solvent-free polyurethane resin. The surface is sanded, filled to close all the pores and sealed with a highly elastic polyurethane resin.
The flooring is laid to a thickness of 5-8 mm.


Applications
Thanks to the outstanding technical properties, the range of applications is almost limitless: hotels, dance halls, restaurants, hospitals, multi-purpose halls, schools, retail outlets, TV and film studios, barracks, public buildings, museums, exhibition halls as well as industrial facilities.

Special applications
Thanks to the material's high resistance to heat and frost and extremely hard-wearing qualities the range of applications for HALTOPEX is virtually unlimited. It is used increasingly for flooring in cable railway stations and passenger cabins as well as in public transport, for example ferries and trams.
