Properties
SURFATEX is a compact, finely polished flooring system with good decorative characteristics.
The very attractive floor is individual in character, easy to clean and resistant to liquids. It has a very high compressive strength.

Materials
SURFATEX consists of a levelling course at least 25 mm thick and a 10-30 mm course of special mixture comprising fragmented materials. Depending on the usage and substrate, cement and/or synthetic resin can be used as a binder.
Different effects can be achieved by adding marble powder or pigments.


Application
SURFATEX is used as a decorative flooring where natural stone might also be used: entrance halls, foyers, corridors, exhibition rooms, schools, hotels, churches and museums.
There are further possible applications in the field of building renovation.

Mastic asphalt terrazzo
Properties
Mastic asphalt terrazzo floors are seamless and extremely hard-wearing surfaces. The appearance can be adapted to individual requirements by varying the composition of the pebbles.
SURFATEX floors are warm to the tread, kind to joints, 100% waterproof and highly suited to underfloor heating.

Materials
Mastic asphalt terrazzo floors are 30-50 mm thick. The colour, grain and proportion of pebbles in the admixture can be chosen to suit the application. A red-pigmented mastic asphalt can be used.


Application
SURFATEX mastic asphalt terrazzo floors are used in commercial and public spaces as well as in private residential building: for example, trade fair, exhibition and market halls, boutiques, restaurants, hotels, museums, schools, corridors and bathroom units. The material is also suitable for refurbishment projects.
